General Admission

Every year, many students choose CNDA for the quality of its teaching, the diversity of its study profiles and its stimulating environment. Whether for entry into Secondary 1 or in various cycles, CNDA offers young motivated students the opportunity to invest themselves fully in their learning.

Admission Process

To attend Collège Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption, every candidate must complete the following two steps:

  1. Admission, which consists of the review of the academic record (report cards);
  2. Official registration, which involves enrolling the student and selecting courses, programs, and profiles. Registration is reserved for students whose application has been accepted.
  3. An application for admission may be submitted at any time. It will be reviewed based on the academic record, the date of receipt, and seat availability.

Applications for students entering Secondary 2 through Secondary 5 should be submitted to CNDA as early as possible to maximize the likelihood of securing a place.

Documents to Submit to the College

  • Admission form
  • Birth certificate (original document)
  • Final report card from the last completed school year
  • Most recent report card from the current school year
  • Individualized Education Plan and evaluation reports, if applicable
  • Relevant medical reports, if applicable

*For students born outside of Canada, please also include the following documents:

  • Canadian immigration documents (IMM 1000 or citizenship card)
  • Birth certificate from the country of origin
  • Adoption certificate, if applicable
  • Two proofs of residency in Quebec

A $50 fee must be submitted to confirm the application for admission.

Please note that, to be admitted to Collège Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption, the student must freely consent to attend the institution and demonstrate the ability to pursue secondary studies.

Official Re-registration

Re-registration documents and course selection forms are sent out each year during the month of February. They must be completed and returned to the College as promptly as possible to secure the student’s place.

The annual registration fee of $175 must be submitted with the registration documents. Course offerings are subject to enrolment numbers and capacity. Course selections will be assigned based on the date the documents are received by the College.

International Student Admission

Collège Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption is pleased to welcome students from abroad who wish to enjoy an enriching academic experience at a private secondary school in Nicolet. Our warm and supportive environment enables international students to integrate seamlessly while continuing their academic journey.

Tuition Fees

A deposit of $1,100 (applicable toward tuition fees) plus a $500 file-opening fee must be submitted.

Application for a Study Permit

Upon receipt of the Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ), we will send it to you by registered mail, together with the original letter of acceptance from the College and a custodianship declaration. These documents will enable you to apply for a study permit from the Government of Canada.

To study in Canada, parents of minor students must obtain a study permit from the Government of Canada. The College is unable to submit this application on your behalf.
